If the side rail of your truck is too wide that you can't insert the screw, you can add some gaskets we provide on the top of cards. Then you can tighten the cards with screw.
Our bed rack doesn't fit for tri-fold or soft roll-up tonneau cover, only suit for retractable cover. If your truck bed has a retractable cover, you can install the base on the side rail directly with suitable screws and bolts.
